Edward "Gerald" Carpenter

Gerald Carpenter age 36 of Knoxville, gained his angel wings Monday, March 25, 2024.  Gerald was of the Baptist faith and former employee of Flowers Bakery.  Gerald was a graduate of Central High School and Tennessee Applied Technology.  Gerald loved fishing, going to the gun range and an avid music lover.  Preceded in death by grandparents; Edward and Lorene Carpenter.  Survivors; parents, Eddie and Susan Carpenter; brother, Chris (Carrie) Sutton; sister, Jennifer Carpenter; grandparents, George and Shirley Pratt; Aunts, Karen and Brenda; Uncle, Tony; special friend, Brittany; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2024 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel followed by a 7:00 p.m. Celebration of Life Service, Rev.
